CALIFORNIA RESIDENT (or AB540)
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or CA DREAM ACT application

EDUCATION PLAN

Grossmont-Cuyamaca College Promise covers tuition and mandatory fees (student health, representation, and Cuyamaca construction fee).
Books, supplies, parking permits, and other class fees are not included.

  1. TAKE CHARGE of my future with the college’s help

    • Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act application
    • Complete the college onboarding process:

      • Orientation
      • Education Plan
  3. ATTEND Grossmont or Cuyamaca College full-time (at least 12 college units per semester)
  4. COMMIT to my college success:
    • Maintain a 2.0 grade point average or higher and full-time status to remain eligible
    • Actively participate in college events
    • Make steady progress on my education plan
    • Ask for the help I need to fulfill my goals

PROCESS AND TIMELINE

COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT:
Promise students impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic and need to withdraw below 12-units must
log into Web Advisor and select the COVID-19 option as the reason for withdrawal.
The Excused Withdrawal waives the full-time requirements for the Spring semester and does not affect Fall eligibility.
